How often should I dedicate a Power Hour session in my schedule?
I always recommend that you start your day with the power hour so that you establish the habit of putting your business first. If that doesn't work for you then finding a time that you can be consistent with would be great. I have had clients that set 4 15min slots on their calendars and others that do 2 - 30min slots and that works for them and you can find what works best for you. I also like to think of the Power Hour as opening my metaphorical doors for business.
What if I struggle with staying focused during my Power Hour? Are there any tips or strategies to overcome this?
Staying focused can be a common challenge, but there are strategies to help. Start by eliminating as many distractions as possible (I know, i know...the kids...the dog....I get it. Then stack your Power Hour to something you already do - habit stacking - is a powerful tool. I only do my Power Hour with my coffee in hand. Techniques like the Pomodoro method or time blocking can help with focus and productivity too. I like the physical calendar for that reason. It's always on my desk as a constant reminder of my morning routine. You will grow to love your Power Hour so much that you will actually miss it when you don't do it! I know I do!
Can I see real results from implementing the Power Hour system in a relatively short period of time?
